Description

This database contains high-resolution scanning electron microscope (SEM) images of quartz grain surfaces collected from modern fluvial sediments of the Kinu River, Japan. The dataset is intended to support research on sediment transport dynamics, grain-scale mechanical processes, and fluvial energy heterogeneity.
