This dataset contains raw survey responses (N = 614) from Chinese consumers who had visited a biophilic-design rest area within a shopping mall, collected via an online questionnaire distributed through WeChat and QQ group channels. The dataset supports the empirical analysis (structural equation modeling and mediation analysis) reported in the associated manuscript on biophilic design characteristics, perceived value, and behavioral intention in shopping mall rest areas. A full data dictionary and item-level codebook are provided in the accompanying README file.
