Description

This dataset contains survey responses (N = 379) from Vietnamese university students on their experience with delivery-tracking notifications on the Shopee e-commerce platform. The survey measured four constructs, delivery-tracking notification experience, perceived information accuracy, perceived delivery control, and trust in the platform's delivery-tracking system, using scales adapted from validated instruments.

Respondents were screened on two criteria before completing the survey: having purchased on Shopee within the preceding six months, and having received at least one delivery-tracking notification during that period. Data were collected in two sequential stages. An online Google Form questionnaire, accessed via a QR code, was administered first, across six class sessions over three days; students completed the survey on their own phones near the end of each class session. Because this stage yielded a low volume of valid responses, a paper version of the same questionnaire was then administered in person, primarily by approaching individual students at the university library, faculty buildings, and student clubs. All items used a five-point Likert scale (1 = strongly disagree, 5 = strongly agree). Responses were screened for straight-lining and exact duplicates before analysis, yielding a final analytic sample of 379 valid responses.
