The effect of age on D20, D40 and live foal rates in the Clydesdale mare

Anonymized farm data from a study researching the effects of age on pregnancy and live foal rates in Clydesdale mares. 'Clydesdale_repro_data_AOS_V3.xlsx' contains the anonymized raw dataset gathered from 12 stud farms in Canada, Scotland and USA for this study. 'AOS_data_NHT_V2.xlsx' contains most of the same dataset as 'Clydesdale_repro_data_AOS_V3.xlsx' minus mares who had been treated with hormones, and was simplified for statistical analysis. 'Rcode_clydesdale_AOS_V3.txt' contains the code to run the statistical analysis from the study and instructions on which parameters need to be updated to run the program properly on your system. 'METADATA_FINAL.docx' contains tables of variables and definitions used in each of the other files in this repository.

Steps to reproduce
The code used to create the generalized linear mixed models in this study was run using R software (https://www.r-project.org/) which must be installed prior to running the code. Download all the files from the repository and read the instructions at the beginning of the Rcode_clydesdale_AOS_V3.txt. The parameters in the code which will need to be altered for your system are described in this file.
