Description

The data is composed of a corpus of 83 chat conversations, recorded from January2021 until June 2024. The chats are between the author and various fraudsters posing as generals, oilriggers, doctors, engineers, contractors, businessmen and celebrities, who tried to presuade her to send them money. They are examples of realinteractions between fraudsters and their victim. Each file is identified by the scammer's fake name. In the conversation, he appears as a General (Gen), Doctor (Doc), Engineer,(Eng), Oilrigger (Oil), and Ship captain (Capt). He is also identified by a number. There is also one Unicef director (Unicef01), one Tire Company Owner (Tires01), and one Celebrity (Celeb01). In the conversations, PFB is the author who played out the scam with them and posed as a victim.
