The data is from a cross-sectional survey of patients with hypertension in a facility in the Northern Region of Ghana, West Africa. The study focused on patients 18 years of age and older who presented with a history of hypertension diagnosis for at least six months, were on medications, and reported to the outpatient department of the hospital.
