Crataegus pinnatifida bge.var. major N. E. Br. or C. pinnatifida Bge. The dried leaves of Crataegus pinnatifida Bge. (C. pinnatifida Bge.) have been used in the field of traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, regulating qi and channeling pulse. Modern studies have proved that total flavonoids in hawthorn leaves not only have a good therapeutic effect on the cardiovascular system, but also have a good protective effect on alcohol liver injury, but there are few studies on the liver protective effect of flavonoids monommonic compounds in Hawthorn leaves. In this paper, the 70% alcohol extract of Hawthorn leaves was systematically separated by various chromatographic separation techniques. A total of 21 compounds were isolated. The structures of all compounds were determined by means of 1D, 2D NMR, OR, HRESIMS and CD spectra. In order to further explore the differences in the protective effects of different types of flavonoid monomer compounds in Hawthorn leaves on alcoholic liver injury, the antioxidant activities of the new isolated compounds and various types of flavonoid monomer compounds were first screened. Then, the protective activities of flavonoid monomer compounds on alcoholic liver injury were screened through the BRL-3A cell alcohol liver injury model. The results showed that carbohydrate 20 had the best protective activity against alcohol liver injury.
