Data collection for weed density was performed using a standardized 1 m × 1 m quadrat method. At each sampling point within the experimental plots, a quadrat was placed randomly on the ground in a defined area for observation. All weed species present within the quadrat were identified and counted separately as broadleaf or narrow-leaved weeds.
