Biogeochemical properties of nutrient sources to Metro Vancouver's coastal ocean (2023-2024)

Description

This dataset comprises biogeochemical data collected from stormwater, urban rivers, and wastewater in Metro Vancouver between September 2023 and February 2024. The data include macronutrients (nitrate, silicate and phosphate); stable carbon and nitrogen isotopes, carbon and nitrogen content, and fatty acid content of organic matter; dissolved organic carbon and nitrogen content; salinity and temperature data for all water samples. These data were collected as part of the Urban Oceans Project, a project of the Pelagic Ecosystems Lab (https://pelagicecosystems.oceans.ubc.ca), Institute for the Oceans and Fisheries, University of British Columbia. The data are associated with the manuscript entitled "Biogeochemical fluxes and tracers of nutrients and organic matter from urban stormwater and rivers to the coastal ocean of Metro Vancouver, Canada".
