There are three datasets. The first dataset consists of major and trace element geochemistry of volcanic glass shards from ODP Site 758. Major elements were measured using EPMA and EDX, while trace elements were analysed by LA-ICP-MS. The second dataset includes major (EDX) and trace element (LA-ICP-MS) compositions of Andaman glass shards, used for comparison with the ODP 758 tephra layers. The third dataset comprises micropaleontological data from ODP 758, including total foraminiferal number, fragmentation index, planktic/benthic ratio, CaCO₃%, and species-specific preservation indicators such as N. dutertrei intact and broken test percentages.
