Genes significantly upregulated in ccRCC tissue were collected via integrated analysis. The key term “clear cell renal cell carcinoma” was used for data retrieval from the public databases of the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO, https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/geo/), ArrayExpress (https://www.ebi.ac.uk/arrayexpress/), Sequence Read Archive (SRA, https://trace.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/Traces/sra/), and International Cancer Genome Consortium (ICGC, https://dcc.icgc.org/). The inclusion criteria of included datasets were as follows: ① mRNA expression data of ccRCC and adjacent tissues from patients; ② no adjuvant treatment for patients with ccRCC, such as chemotherapy or radiotherapy.
