Dual-action strategy to reprogram chaperone activity for α-synuclein aggregate clearance in Parkinson's disease
Description
This dataset contains raw research data obtained during the implementation of the project "Optymalizacja modelu in vitro komórek LUHMES opartego na patologii α-synukleiny do modelowania chorób neurodegeneracyjnych" (Optimization of the in vitro LUHMES cell model based on α-synuclein pathology for modeling neurodegenerative diseases). The shared data includes cellular biochemical profiles analyzed via FTIR spectroscopy, along with experimental results evaluating cell viability, metabolic activity, oxidative stress, aggresome formation, and molecular chaperone activation in human LUHMES cells. The study investigated the potential of a combined treatment using the natural compound resveratrol and lithium chloride against neurotoxicity induced by pre-formed α-synuclein fibrils (PFF) to model Parkinson's disease. The collected data serves as the empirical basis for both the original research paper and the patent application no. P. 448928.
