This replication package accompanies the manuscript "From Activism to Efficiency: Does ESG Shareholder Engagement Mitigate Credit Misallocation?". It enables independent researchers to fully reproduce every empirical result reported in the main text and appendix.

Steps to reproduce

Please follow the ReadMe file to replicate the reults. Specifically, you should: 1. Set your working directory to the root folder of the replication package. 2. Open Stata 17 MP (or later). 3. Run the do-files in the Stata. 4. The script will automatically:(1) merge and generate the analytical dataset; (2) execute all regressions, robustness checks, and figure generation; (3) and save outputs.
