Description

This is the dataset supporting the research article entitled "First identification of violent caldera-forming explosivity in the Emeishan Large Igneous Province linked to global climate cooling and biotic crisis". The dataset includes the following meterials: (1) Photos showing typical lithological observations of basaltic lavas in addition to those presented in the main text (Figure S1). (2) Raw data of well logging showing insoluble content of the hydromagmatic deposit section in JT1 (File. S1). (3) Calculation of the currently revealed volume of the volcanic products (File. S2). (4) Raw data for physical logging indicating density of the studied mafic magmatic rocks (File. S3).
