Description

This dataset supports the findings of a study investigating the impact of periodontitis-associated systemic inflammation on diabetic kidney injury. The data include in vivo and in vitro experimental results assessing renal pathology, inflammatory status, and metabolic alterations. Specifically, the dataset contains: (1) histological and fibrosis-related measurements of kidney tissues; (2) circulating inflammatory cytokine levels; (3) glycolysis-related parameters, including lactate levels, ATP content, and NAD⁺/NADH ratio; (4) expression of epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT)-related markers.
