The dataset was collected from one year of operation between 2019 and 2020 of the second-life battery based microgrid at the Robert-Mondavi Winery at the University of California, Davis. It includes 5-minute resolution power data from the microgrid's solar photovoltaic arrays, second-life energy storage system, and net demand. Two types of analyzed data are included as secondary data: 1) cleaned power data including calculated demand and 2) analyzed data that quantifies the contribution to the performance of the microgrid from each energy resource at reducing peak-time demand. These datasets may be utilized to evaluate the impacts of second-life energy storage systems and microgrids in terms of economic, environmental, and other factors.
