Description

This dataset contains the complete Raman spectroscopy measurements used in the study “Crossover in interparticle thermal conductance during densification of silicon nanoparticle assemblies.” The measurements were performed on compact assemblies of Si nanoparticles with a mean particle diameter of 100 nm at assembly mass densities of 0.50, 0.65, 0.80, 0.88, and 1.00 g/cm³, over temperatures ranging from 25 to 375 °C. For each density and temperature, Raman spectra were acquired at several laser powers and used to determine the thermal conductivity by optothermal Raman spectroscopy. The dataset includes the complete set of Raman spectra underlying the representative measurements presented in Fig. 2 and the thermal-conductivity results reported in the associated manuscript. A README file accompanying the dataset describes the organization of the files and the conversion between the laser output power, the power incident on the sample, and the absorbed laser power used in the thermal analysis.
