Description

This dataset supports the study entitled *"Mapping the Research Landscape of Remote Underwater Camera Systems for Marine Biodiversity Monitoring: A Bibliometric Analysis (1972–2026). The dataset contains bibliographic records retrieved from the Scopus database using a structured search strategy related to remote underwater camera systems, underwater imaging technologies, and marine biodiversity monitoring. The data include publication metadata such as titles, authors, affiliations, source titles, publication years, keywords, abstracts, citations, and document types. The dataset was used to perform bibliometric analyses, including publication trend analysis, citation analysis, co-authorship analysis, country and institutional productivity assessment, and keyword co-occurrence mapping. The data provide a comprehensive overview of the intellectual structure, thematic evolution, and research trends in remote underwater camera systems for marine biodiversity monitoring from 1972 to 2026 (up to May 2, 2026). There are 1132 articles related to this study.
