Steps to reproduce
This dataset provides an overview of 365 existing mineral deposits in Central Asia: 233 in Kazakhstan, 71 in Uzbekistan, 43 in Kyrgyzstan, and 18 in Tajikistan. Major mining companies, their countries of origin, and export markets for Central Asian critical materials were reviewed. The dataset is based on a broad range of sources, including news media, mining company websites, official government catalogues, and mineral maps in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Descriptive statistical analysis was utilised as a method for data analysis and interpretation.
