Description

Powder coating wastes were tested as a plasticizing additive in concrete mixes and as pigments for bulk coloring of silicate bricks. The test results identified a plasticizing activity of the powder coating wastes in the concrete mixtures. Also detected low efficiency of the usage of powder coating wastes as pigment materials in bulk coloring of silicate bricks. Steps to reproduce

Powder coating wastes were tested as a plasticizing additive in concrete mixes and as pigments for bulk coloring of silicate bricks. The additive from the powder coating wastes was added to the fresh concrete mixture C25/30, S2. Slump test with Abrams cone determined the results of mobility fresh concrete mixtures. The test results identified a plasticizing activity of the powder coating wastes in the concrete mixtures.
