The dataset provides the research results of a sociological survey of 177 international students of Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University (IKBFU) studying in the 2018/2019 academic year. This is 28% of the total number of international students at the IKBFU. The purpose of the survey was to identify the features and problems of adaptation and integration of international students to the regional society. The data includes the personal characteristics of the respondents, distribution of respondents' answers to questions about the factors of choosing a place of study, depending on the country of residenc, distribution of respondents' answers to questions about the peculiarities of adaptation depending on their country of citizenship.
