16S PCR
Description
This dataset contains processed 16S rRNA gene sequencing results from anaerobic digestion experiments investigating the effects of volatile tar compounds (VTCs) on syngas co-digestion. The data include taxonomic classification (phylum, class, and genus levels) and relative abundance of microbial communities under different VTC concentrations (0.5–3 g L⁻¹) during glucose- and acetate-based batch experiments. The dataset was generated from mesophilic cultures, with BES applied in glucose assays to inhibit methanogenesis. These data were used to assess shifts in microbial community structure associated with VTC exposure, glucose degradation, volatile fatty acid (VFA) production, and methanogenic activity. No raw sequencing reads are included; only processed abundance tables are provided
