Houpoea officinalis flowers phenolic compounds: Optimization extraction, phenolic profiling, and antioxidant mechanism elucidation based on network pharmacology and molecular docking

Steps to reproduce
The dried flowers of Houpoea officinalis were powdered and subjected to ethanol extraction, with the process optimized via single-factor experiments and a Box-Behnken response surface design using total phenolic content as the key response. The phenolic profile was subsequently quantified using a modified Folin-Ciocalteu assay and high-performance liquid chromatography, while the chemical functional groups in the extract were characterized by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy.
