Vamsi VarraDescription
This table lists the ICD-10-CM codes used to classify pathology reports by skin cancer subtype in the NLP extraction pipeline. Subtypes include squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), squamous cell carcinoma in situ (SCCIS), basal cell carcinoma (BCC), melanoma (MM), and melanoma in situ (MIS). Codes were selected to capture the full anatomic site granularity available within each subtype category in ICD-10-CM, spanning all major body surface locations. These codes served as the reference standard for subtype labeling against which NLP model performance was evaluated.
