Description

This dataset contains information on 60 bank branches, which were used as Decision Making Units (DMUs) in the application of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The dataset includes input and output variables relevant to branch-level efficiency evaluation. These variables were collected from internal banking records and prepared in a structured format suitable for DEA modeling. The purpose of this dataset is to provide a benchmark for evaluating branch efficiency and to support reproducibility of the experiments presented in the associated research manuscript. All branch identifiers were anonymized to ensure confidentiality, while preserving the integrity of the efficiency analysis.

Steps to reproduce

This dataset includes information on 60 bank branches, which serve as Decision Making Units (DMUs) for the application of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The first four columns represent the input variables used in the DEA model. The next three columns represent the output variables. The last column reports the efficiency scores of each branch, calculated using the CCR (Charnes, Cooper, and Rhodes) DEA model. The dataset is anonymized to protect the identity of the bank branches, while preserving the integrity of the efficiency evaluation. It can be used as a benchmark for DEA studies focusing on banking sector performance.
