Description

Replication scripts for the four numerical examples of "A Fiber Quadratic Program for Estimation-Free Static Output Feedback" (Systems & Control Letters, submitted). Each script is self-contained, requires only NumPy, SciPy and Matplotlib, and produces one figure of the paper together with the numerical claims made about it in the text. Every script re-runs a feasibility audit on the stated operating region on each invocation and aborts if Assumption 2 or (ms1) is violated there, so the numbers in the paper cannot drift from the numbers the scripts produce. make_fig_pendulum.py Section 5.1, Figure 1. Symmetric pendulum with y = (cos t, w). Grid audit over |t| <= 1.2, |w| <= 1.5 and a fine sweep of the singular curve w = -eps sin t; the closed loop under the fiber QP; the excess by which a controller enforcing the constraint at one selected fiber point violates the other; the two fiber constraints at one measurement. make_fig_biquad.py Section 5.2, Figure 2. A system that refuses. Fraction of the region on which the fiber intersection is empty, the check that those refusals are fiber conflicts and not actuator saturation, the realized dwell times and the dwell-time inequality, and the constants of Assumption 4. make_fig_circle.py Section 5.3, Figure 3. Continuum fiber. The sampled program of Theorem 15 with and without the robust margin, showing that sampling without the margin returns inputs outside U(y) at every sample count tried, and that with the margin the returned input lies in U(y) and respects the conservatism bound. make_fig_pmsm.py Section 5.4, Figure 4. Two-input IPMSM at low speed. Grid audit over the low-speed region, the median gap between the two right-hand sides, and the excess by which a controller obeying one fiber point violates the other. Expected output is listed in README.txt. Reproducing it requires no data: the scripts generate everything they use.
