Description

Calcium-chloride brines and formation waters, southern Siberian Platform, Russia

Files

Steps to reproduce

The primary set comprises 40 analyses of Ca–Cl brines and formation waters of the southern Siberian Platform, collected in 2019–2025, mainly by downhole (MDT) and separator sampling. An independent control set of 14 analyses (1990–2025, independent laboratory; wellhead and free-flow sampling) is kept separate because the sampling points differ. For the batch test, one production well was sampled repeatedly from four test objects at 1600–2300 m; 85 analyses with boron determined were made in 13 analytical batches. The compositional data and the bromide-normalised framework are described in full in two companion papers (Smirnov et al., submitted).
