Digitalization offers great opportunities for improving supply chain management. How-ever, its full potential is limited by the tendency of managers in these chains to rely on hierarchical organizational structures, which prevent the full utilization of employees’ competencies. These competencies are essential for the development and implementation of artificial intelli-gence that operates on both physical and non-physical management objects. The solution to this problem can be achieved through holacracy, which creates conditions for employees in supply chain links to act as “sensors” and “actuators”. These roles are essential for the development and implementation of a digital twin that can help manage these chains.
