ON THE THRESHOLD OF TECHNOLOGICAL WESTPHALALIA
Description
This research paper analyzes the fundamental transformation of the international relations system, characterized by the transition from global digital interdependence to the model of Technological Westphalia. The author explores the process of replacing classic political-legal sovereignty with technological and infrastructural sovereignty. The article details the three pillars of the new world order, introduces the VSCI (Value Chain Sovereignty Index) methodology for assessing state resilience, and provides a comprehensive comparative analysis of the strategies of key geopolitical actors: China, the European Union, and the Saudi-Turkish-Pakistani network alliance. Special attention is paid to the de-ideologization of international alliances and the formation of pragmatic shared sovereignty frameworks. The paper is supplemented by long-term forecast scenarios up to 2035 and practical recommendations for the corporate sector to adapt business models to a fragmented technological landscape.
