Tomato growth dataset. Fresh weight, colour and firmness as sampled over tomato fruit growth period.

Steps to reproduce

Fruit growth was followed by sampling fruits at regular time intervals throughout their development until ripe. Fruits with similar known dates of anthesis were used. Development of tomato (Solanum lycopersicum cv. ‘Merlice’) was followed in the years 2020 and 2022. Fruits were grown at two different locations in Belgium, as specified in (Šalagovič et al., 2023).
