Description

This dataset contains point level measured and simulated daylight illuminance values for two spatial configurations in an office-to-education adaptive reuse case study in Istanbul, Türkiye. The data include four cellular classrooms on the 12th floor (12F) and an open-plan design studio on the 14th floor (14F). Measurements were recorded at three daytime intervals (09:00–10:00, 12:00–13:00, and 15:00–16:00) and paired with the corresponding simulation outputs. The dataset comprises 117 matched measurement–simulation pairs for 12F and 120 pairs for 14F. Illuminance values are reported in lux (lx). The dataset supports the point-level agreement assessment between measured and simulated daylight illuminance reported in the associated manuscript.

Steps to reproduce

Field illuminance measurements were conducted at predefined measurement points in the 12F cellular classrooms and the 14F open-plan design studio. Measurements were recorded during three daytime intervals (09:00–10:00, 12:00–13:00, and 15:00–16:00). Corresponding simulated illuminance values were extracted for the same measurement points and time intervals. The dataset contains 117 matched measurement–simulation pairs for 12F and 120 matched pairs for 14F. Illuminance values are reported in lux (lx).
