Description

Most of the data collection are listed in the attached excel file, and also a resume of the final data used in different figures and tables are presented. All authors contributed to the present article. Dra. Areco and Dr. Curutchet contributed to the study conception, design and the analysis of the results. Material preparation and data collection were performed by Loreta Rojas, Victoria Passucci, Dr. Diego Noseda, Dr. Maria Mar Areco and to a lesser extent Nicolás Rotella. The first draft was written by Dr. Maria Mar Areco and all authors commented on previous versions of the manuscript. Final version was evaluated by Dr. Gustavo Curutchet. All authors have read and approved the final manuscript.

Steps to reproduce

Heach excel sheet contains de data set used to create different figures and tables presented in the corresponding manuscript In order to reach these objectives different experiences were made. The growth of the biomass was evaluated in the presence of different nitrogen sources (data listed as "different nitrogen concentrations" in the excel file), as well as with different Ni concentrations (data listed as "Growth, pH, Metal concentration" in the excel file attached). Also, a respirometric evaluation was made in order to evaluate how these different conditions affected the metabolism of respiration and photosyntesis of B. braunii (data listed as "respirometric" in the excel file). The remediation capacity of the biomass was also studied (data listed as "isotherms" in the excel file attached) Most of the data collection are listed in the attached excel file, and also a resume of the final data used in different figures and tables are presented.
