Survey Data on the Knowledge of Malaria, Diagnosis and Prevention

Description

This study assesses the knowledge towards malaria, knowledge towards malaria diagnosis and knowledge towards malaria prevention linking the awareness of low levels of malaria transmission in the cause of achieving malaria elimination. The study employed a cross-sectional design in which the staff of Federal College of Medical Laboratory Science and Technology, Jos; Plateau State College of Health Technology, Zawan, and Federal College of Veterinary and Medical Laboratory Technology, Vom were considered for data collection from 27/03/2023 to 30/06/2023. A total of 600 participants were recruited which consist of 300 males, 100 from each Institution and 300 females, 100 from each Institution with age ranging from 18years to > 45 years; level of education considered range from primary to tertiary while the marital status comprises single, married and divorced.
