Ball milling Diels-Alder cycloaddition of maleic anhydride and 1,3-dimethyl-2,3-butadiene
Description
This dataset includes in situ Raman spectroscopy (kinetic data) and acrylic data (due to the reaction jar), MATLAB scripts for kinetic data analysis, and X-ray powder diffraction data of selected product batches.

Steps to reproduce
X-ray powder diffraction data collected in a Bruker D2-Phaser X-ray powder diffractometer with Cu Kα radiation, LynxEye position-sensitive detector, Ni filter, and 1 mm air-scattering screen, using flat-plate Si zero background wafers (2.5 cm diameter) on acrylic Bruker sample holders. In situ Raman spectroscopy data was collected from an InSolido Tech IST500 ball mill, using 30 Hz milling frequency, 14 mL acrylic jars, and four chrome steel 0.25" diameter balls. An InSolido Tech Raman system with 785 nm laser, 450 mW was used. Each spectrum was collected after 15 seconds. Integration time: 1000 ms and 15 scans averaged.
