This dataset provides foundational resources for assessing the zoonotic potential of tick-borne viruses (TBVs) using a predictive model grounded in RNA polymerase composition. It comprises: (i) nucleotide sequences of TBVs with corresponding annotations, facilitating a comprehensive overview of sequences relevant to zoonotic risk assessment; (ii) ten predictive models trained on RNA polymerase composition, alongside their respective training datasets and loss metrics, which enable the evaluation of TBVs’ host adaptation potential, and (iii) Average Levenshtein similarity of Human and nonHuman sequences to reference sequences.
