Description

To investigate the potential role of Trem2 in ALD, Trem2 knockout mice were procured from Cyagen Biosciences (Guangzhou, China) and housed in a specific pathogen-free (SPF) facility. Trem2 KO mice and wild-type (WT, C57BL/6J) mice were fed the NIAAA alcohol liquid diet for 16 days, followed by proteomic analysis performed by Majorbio Co., Ltd. (China). GO and KEGG enrichment analyses of differentially expressed genes in each pairwise comparison were conducted using the EnrichPipeline workflow (Bioinformatics enrichment tools: paths toward the comprehensive functional analysis of large gene lists. Nucleic Acids Res 37: 1-13). Proteins meeting the criteria of Log2FC > 2.0 and P < 0.05 were identified as significantly differentially expressed proteins. All computations and visualizations were performed using R-4.5.3 and R Studio software.
