A total of fifteen long soil gas profiles were conducted at the arcuate structure zone from April to May 2021 (Figure 1). These profiles encompassed a total of 275 concentration sampling points, with an interval of ~3 km. Among these concentration points, 79 points were located within the fault zone and 196 points were located outside the fault zone. Moreover, 32 flux sampling points were measured along faults within the study area. Additionally, soil temperature, air temperature, atmospheric pressure, atmospheric humidity and altitude were recorded at each sampling point.
