pv_panels_insolation_2023_2024
Description
This data set contains the insolation per day data from all the PV Panels, that are facing East, West, North and South directions placed vertically, in 13.07° N Latitude and 80.24° E - Chennai city location, capital of Tamil Nadu State, in the southern part of India. The insolation data was first downloaded from the Enphase Inc website (https://enlighten.enphaseenergy.com/web/4869826/layout/graph/hours?v=3.4.0) - restricted access and then converted into xlsx files.The data is arranged as in .xlsx file and in each of the file that are named as per the yyyy-mm-dd format, the data are arranged for each of the East (ID:482339008053), West (ID:482339008202), North (ID: 482339008207) and South (ID:482339008266) panel., in the xlsx file showcasing the energy produce in Watts with the ID identifier. The energy generation data from each of the PV panels facing cardinal directions vertically are recorded and are studied to find the potential of solar insolation on the vertical surfaces of the buildings.
