Description

This dataset contains 498 valid survey responses from students at Chinese higher education institutions, collected between late 2025 and early 2026. The research investigates the developmental mechanisms translating Organizational Failure Tolerance (OFT) into Student Leadership (SL) through the dual mediators of Psychological Resilience (PR) and Social Communication Ability (Soc). The dataset includes: Raw demographic data: Gender, age, and organizational experience. Measurement items: Indicators for OFT, PR, Soc, Cog (Innovative Capability), and SL, measured on a 7-point Likert scale. Data Screening: The data has been cleaned to remove unengaged responses (straight-lining with iSD < 0.3). All data are anonymized to protect participant privacy.
