Description

This dataset contains three files of harmonic profiles, electrical parameters and waveforms of 7 nonlinear household loads on a typical residential electrical network in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. A METREL MI 2883 power quality analyzer was used to capture the data.

Steps to reproduce

A METREL MI 2883 power quality analyzer is used to capture real-time data from household nonlinear loads. Once the data is recorded, it is stored on a secure digital (SD) card. Then, the SD card is removed from the measuring device and inserted into a computer for further processing. The recorded data is accessed through the software METREL PowerView v3.0.0.5696 (64 bit), which facilitates data interpretation and visualization. Finally, in the export phase, the processed data is structured and saved in an Excell file for further analysis.
