Physico- chemical properties of soil from six firkas in Dharmapuri district,Tamil nadu, India.
The study area consisted of six firkas in Dharmapuri district, Tamil Nadu, India: Marandahalli, Vellichandai, Palacode, Karimangalam, Pulikarai, and Periyanahalli. A GPS device was used to record the locations of soil samples. pH, EC, sand, silt, clay, BD, WHC, OC, Calcium carbonate, and available NPK were determined in the samples. After converting the data to vector layers, kriging was used to build a spatial variability map of each soil parameter.
