Two consecutive prospective monocentric observational ECCO2R studies (NCT 02965079 and 05079009) were conducted involving the Hemolung (Hemolung Group 1, n=8) and iLA Activve (iLA-continuous Group 2, n=12) devices under continuous extracorporeal blood flow and the iLA Activve device set to the “Advanced” mode (iLA-pulsatile Group 3, n=6), allowing a pulsatile extracorporeal flow. Since some baseline imbalances were observed, adjusted analyses were performed and are presented as supporting material in Mendeley Data
