Description

This study presents experimental data from the testing of a prototype device that captures water from atmospheric air. The thermoelectric device, Peltier Module, uses dehumidification via air cooling, facilitating condensation. These experimental data will support the subsequent technical feasibility study.

Steps to reproduce

This initial investigation comprised a two-stage experimental study designed to achieve the stated objectives and test the postulated hypotheses. Stage one involved the design and fabrication of an experimental prototype to conduct testing. Several early prototype concepts were discarded during this phase due to practical concerns or inefficiencies in producing the desired experimental results. Stage two involved running experiments with the prototype, measuring the results, and collecting quantitative and qualitative data.. The prototype testing was carried out in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, specifically in the North Zone. A comprehensive testing regime consisted of 42 trials, each spanning 11 hours of actual measurements. Throughout each test, the system was meticulously monitored, and subsequent parameters were meticulously measured and documented as per the attached file.
