Web-based calibration and measurement tool for dermatological photography using reference markers. This HTML application supports the methodology described in "Calibration Markers Enable Lesion Measurement in Total Body Photography" (JAAD Technology Pearl, 2026). Single-file HTML tool - no installation required. Open in any modern web browser for offline use.

Steps to reproduce

REQUIREMENTS: - Modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) - No installation or additional software required - Works offline after download USAGE INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Download the file "lesion_measurement_tool.html" 2. Open the file in any web browser (double-click or right-click → Open with → Browser) 3. Click on "Instructions" tab to read the complete methodology 4. Click on "Measurement Tool" tab to start using the application 5. Load a dermatological photograph containing a reference marker (e.g., 20mm circular sticker) 6. Enter the actual diameter of the reference marker in millimeters 7. Calibrate using one of two methods: - "Detect from 2 Points": Click one point inside and one outside the marker - "Manual Selection": Click three points on the marker's circumference 8. After calibration, click two points on any lesion to measure its size 9. Use Ctrl+Mouse Wheel to zoom, Ctrl+Click to pan the image TECHNICAL DETAILS: - Single-file HTML application (no server required) - Client-side processing only (no data uploaded) - Runs entirely in the browser using JavaScript and HTML5 Canvas - Compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux, tablets, and smartphones
