Steps to reproduce

This pilot randomized controlled trial enrolled 8 patients with histopathologically confirmed granuloma annulare. Patients were randomly assigned to receive either local hyperthermia using an infrared device or a sham procedure. The therapeutic regimen consisted of weekly sessions over the first three months, continuing until complete GA resolution or until the three-month endpoint was reached. All patients were followed up until the sixth month after the initial treatment. Data was analyzed descriptively due to the small sample size (n=8).
