The CCSM3 Deep Time Paleoclimate Simulation: lpia.lowstand.glaciation.big
Description
I. Top Level Description This dataset archives a simulation with Community Climate System Model version 3 (CCSM3) known as lpia.lowstand.glaciation.big. It was called Icehouse.glaciation.polar in Heavens et al. (2015), the publication in which it was first reported in the peer-reviewed literature. This publication should be used for reference concerning the overarching methodology of the simulation. The simulation was run on the bluefire machine operated by the Computational Information Systems Laboratory (CISL) of the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) between 1 April 2011 and 7 May 2011. More complete documentation is included in the top-level README.TXT References: Heavens, N.G., N.M. Mahowald, G.S. Soreghan, M.J. Soreghan, C.A.
