Description

Data contains two sections. First one involves demographic data (semester, gender, campus) together with description of correct (0) and incorrect (1) answers for 150 students of Mechanical Engineering of three university campuses in Mexico City. Second one depicts four type of questions: C1-C3 involving different courses failed as complementary questions in the inventory; A1-A4 initial assessment questions (0-correct and other numbers for distractors); B1.1-B1.5 true-false questions for learning recovery (0-correct-1 incorrect); and B2.1-B2.5 second round assessment questions followed of learning recovery questions (0-correct and other numbers for distractors) for the same corresponding 150 students. Concept Inventory Test was designed (apart from complementary questions C1-C3) in three parts: A for an initial and direct assessment about Free-Body Diagramas construction; part B1 as easier questions for learning recovery being followed; and part B2 as a second round assessment after of learning recovery questions. Link to the test and legends are included in the bottom of each data sheet.
