Figure 2. Patient with human monkeypox treated with topical cidofovir. A, B and C show pictures of the lesions before treatment, whereas D, E and F show the same anatomical localizations after 14 applications of topical cidofovir along 7 days. After seven days of treatment lesions had reduced their size and practically all of them had crusted. Swabs samples taken from the remaining lesions were negative.
