Description

Here you can find code and data used in the study "A model for melt-preferred orientation and permeabilities in deformed partially molten peridotites" by Boda Liu, Chao Qi, Ross N. Mitchell, Cin-Ty A. Lee, Chuan-Zhou Liu. The folder "MCMC_code" includes the C++ code for the MCMC implementation. Boost (https://www.boost.org/users/history/version_1_78_0.html) and GSL (https://www.gnu.org/software/gsl/) are required for the current project. Useful installation guides can be found at https://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_77_0/more/getting_started/windows.html and https://solarianprogrammer.com/2020/01/26/getting-started-gsl-gnu-scientific-library-windows-macos-linux/. The folder "sample_data" contains microstructure data used by MCMC code. Please don't change anything in this folder. The folder "MCMC_output" contains output files generated by MCMC code. Please don't change anything in this folder. The folder "plot_result" contains MATLAB scripts to plot fits to microstructure data.
