Dataset for "An experimental investigation into smoothly nonlinear rotordynamics" including rig design data, simulation data and the experimental data.

Steps to reproduce

The dataset supplies material to build an experimental rig and acquire experimental data as well as compare to time simulations. The rig can be built using the technical drawings in DESIGN folder. The DAQ system and rotordynamic response of the system to unbalance excitation is elaborated in the linked paper "An experimental investigation into smoothly nonlinear rotordynamics". The dataset provides also vibratory response videos.
